Uzbekistan Boosts Weather Forecasting with New Automatic Stations Across Key Regions
In an ambitious stride towards enhancing weather monitoring and forecasting accuracy, Uzbekistan witnesses a significant technological upgrade. Spearheaded by the Zamin Foundation in partnership with the Hydrometeorological Service Agency, this initiative aims to set up 15 state-of-the-art automatic weather stations across several pivotal regions, including Tashkent city and Andijan, Namangan, Navoi, Fergana, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, and Tashkent regions. The project’s goal is to integrate these stations into a unified database, facilitating a leap in the quality of weather data collection and forecasting.
