NYCFC Teams Up with Capital Rx: A Partnership Beyond Soccer

New York City FC (NYCFC), the only Major League Soccer team based within New York City's five boroughs, has entered into a strategic partnership with North America's prominent health technology company, Capital Rx. The partnership, which spans multiple years, designates Capital Rx as the club's Official Sleeve Partner. The logo of Capital Rx will grace the right sleeve of NYCFC First Team kits, marking a significant presence at home matches, across digital platforms, and within community initiatives.

Uniting for a Healthier New York

Both NYCFC and Capital Rx are well-known entities in their respective fields. While NYCFC has carved its niche in the sports world, with notable achievements including a victory in the 2021 MLS Cup, Capital Rx is renowned for its electronic claims processing infrastructure and its enterprise health platform, JUDI. Serving over 2.6 million members, Capital Rx has been instrumental in bringing transparency to the pharmaceutical supply chain, thereby reducing costs for employers, health plans, municipalities, and other payers offering pharmacy benefit programs.

More than Just a Logo

However, the partnership between NYCFC and Capital Rx extends far beyond the logo on the soccer kit. The alliance aims to harness the unique stories and backgrounds that constitute the vibrant NYC community, with a shared vision to promote healthier lives. The partnership is set to include various community programs and events that champion healthier lifestyles for New Yorkers.

A Commitment to Community

Key among these initiatives is the continuation of the New York City Soccer Initiative, a program dedicated to building 26 new mini-soccer pitches throughout the five boroughs by the FIFA World Cup 2026. These pitches will not only provide recreational spaces but also serve as platforms for volunteer pitch cleanups, further fostering a sense of community and promoting healthier living.

The partnership was sourced and facilitated by KLUTCH Sports Group's Property Sales division.
