Madam Pang's application comes with the powerful backing of all 65 member clubs, creating a robust foundation for her presidential bid. The significance of this support cannot be underplayed, as it translates into a minimum of 12 guaranteed votes in the upcoming election, a crucial factor in the race for the presidency.

Nualphan Lamsam is not just bringing her reputation to the table. She has laid out a comprehensive plan to address the pressing issues plaguing Thai football. Among these are the performance of the national team and the financial stability of teams in Thai League 2 and 3. In addition, she has hinted at the imminent signing of a contract with Masatada Ishii as the national team's coach, a move seen as a strategic step towards strengthening the team's performance before their friendly match against Japan at Tokyo's National Stadium on January 1, 2024.

The Road to the Presidency

The process towards the presidency will see delegates from various leagues and associations, including Thai League 1, Thai League 2, Thai League 3, and Futsal league, casting their votes. A total of 73 votes will determine the next president, with the majority required to clinch the position. The deadline for candidates to apply is December 9th, and the election is scheduled for February 8, 2024. A recent survey by Kasem Bundit University suggests that Madam Pang's chances of success stand at approximately 39.90%, a testament to the faith of Thai fans in her capabilities.
