A Rising Star

Carlos Alcaraz, at 19, became the youngest player to reach the top of the ATP ranking. He brought to Mexico a youthful exuberance, a burning passion for tennis, and an undoubtable talent that has earned him a place among the greats of the sport. GNP Tennisfest, taking place in Mexico City, features Alcaraz in its second edition. The event kicks off on November 29 at 7:00 p.m. with a match between Caroline Wozniacki and Maria Sakkari, followed by the much-anticipated duel between Alcaraz and Tommy Paul. The event will wrap up with a musical presentation by Sebastian Yatra. Alcaraz is not the first Spaniard to take center stage at the Tennisfest. In the 2022 edition, Rafael Nadal was one of the guests alongside Casper Rudd.

Alcaraz’s Perspective

Despite his swift rise and success, Alcaraz focuses on remaining calm, avoiding pressure, and enjoying tennis, the sport he loves. His youthful exuberance and unyielding determination make him a force to be reckoned with in the tennis world. As he prepares to play in front of the Mexican public, his promise to show the best version of himself elevates the anticipation for the match.
