President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a four-day visit to Maharashtra, where she will participate in several high-profile events. The President's schedule includes the inauguration of a national conference on 'Integration of Yoga in School Education System-Manifesting the thought' at Lonavala. The event, organized by Kaivalyadham, forms part of its centenary year celebrations. This initiative marks a significant push towards integrating yoga into India's school education system, potentially transforming the wellness landscape for the younger generation.

President's Engagements in Maharashtra

On November 29, the President will grace the Presidential Dinner at the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla. Following day, she will review the Passing Out Parade of the 145th Course of National Defence Academy. These engagements will underscore the President's commitment to supporting India's defence forces.

In addition, President Murmu will lay the foundation stone for a building of the upcoming 5th Battalion and present the 'President’s Colour' to the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. The 'President’s Colour' is a mark of recognition bestowed upon military units for their exceptional service.

Virtual Inaugurations and Convocations

She will also remotely inaugurate 'Prajna', the Armed Forces Center for 'Computational Medicine', signifying a step further in the integration of technology and healthcare in the military. Subsequently, she will attend the 111th convocation of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, reinforcing her support for educational institutions and their contributions to the country.

National and International Agendas

Meanwhile, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi is set to launch the first tranche of critical mineral block auctions in New Delhi. The Union Mines Ministry will host an outreach program on the global action of critical minerals, engaging international ambassadors and business representatives. These meetings underline India's commitment to positioning itself as a key player in the global critical minerals market.

Elsewhere, the 18th National Review Meeting for Persons with Disabilities will take place in New Delhi. This key event underscores the nation's continual efforts to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
