Pritzker expressed optimism on the Democratic stance regarding the immigration issue. Despite the complex nature of the issue, he maintained that even achieving a draw in public opinion would be a favorable outcome. The Governor emphasized that the average American is primarily concerned with personal well-being and economic stability, rather than intricate political issues.

Biden's Achievements and Public Perception

Highlighting the economic enhancements under Biden's administration, such as rising wages, deflating inflation and gas prices, achieving energy independence, and witnessing manufacturing growth, Pritzker suggested that these accomplishments would boost Biden's standing with the public.

On another note, Governor Pritzker has been under fire from Republican leaders, especially Texas Governor Greg Abbott, for allegedly directing migrants to Democratic cities. Pritzker, who has also been campaigning in Iowa for President Biden's re-election, has countered this allegation by urging Abbott to refrain from sending migrants to Chicago. Amidst these tensions, there's speculation that Pritzker might resort to confiscating registered firearms in Illinois in the event of another mass casualty incident.
