As the school holidays unfold, Wakefield City Centre welcomes a delightful addition to its landscape – the Wakefield Valentine's Mega Fun Park at Ings Road Car Park. Over 20 exhilarating rides and attractions stand ready to offer families an unforgettable experience, open daily until Sunday, February 18.
A Thrilling Spectacle
Among the array of rides, the Stratos Fear, dodgems, G Force, Waltzer, and the Sizzler Twist are set to propel visitors to new heights of excitement. The little ones haven't been forgotten, with a dedicated kids roller coaster, fun houses, and a selection of children's rides. The new Cliffhanger adds a unique touch to the spectacle, enticing visitors to test their mettle.
Affordable Fun for All
The Mega Fun Park's one price admission policy grants unlimited access to all rides and attractions, making it a cost-effective day out for families. Wristbands are available for £9, and non-riding adults accompanying children can enjoy the atmosphere for a mere £2. Though food, games, and bungee trampolines require additional fees, the value offered by the wristband remains the fair's main draw.
A Change of Venue
Due to ongoing stadium developments, the fair has moved from its previous home at Wakefield Trinity RLFC car parks to Ings Road. This shift has allowed the event to grow, offering more rides and attractions than ever before. A separate funfair is simultaneously being held at Jacob Well Lane by Trinity Walk.
As the sun sets on another day of the school holidays, the Wakefield Valentine's Mega Fun Park continues to draw crowds eager for a taste of adventure. With its carefully curated mix of rides, attractions, and affordable pricing, the fair has found its place as a beacon of fun in the heart of the city.
Note: Height restrictions apply on some attractions. Please check the fair's guidelines before visiting.
