Tinubu Orders Security Agents to Rescue Female Students Abducted by Terrorists

Mandate for Swift Action by Security Agencies
Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has made a firm commitment to the rescue of the remaining female students of the Federal University Gusau, Zamfara State, who were still in the hands of their terrorist abductors. These stern directives were issued to the security agencies, demonstrating the leader’s resolve in tackling this escalating crisis impacting the nation’s educational institutions and the innocent lives tangled in its fallout.
Strong Condemnation and Assurances of Safety
The president not only condemned the abhorrent act of abduction but went on to emphasize its moral invalidity. According to the leader, the “offence” of these victims was simply their pursuit of quality education – a pursuit that warranted protection and not punishment. Reinstating his administration’s solemn duty, he reassured the families of the abducted students that effort will be sparingly employed in restoring their loved ones to safety.
Commitment to Education and Safeguarding Institutions
Additionally, the president made a commitment to keeping educational institutions as sanctuaries of knowledge, growth, and opportunity. This pledge comes in the face of the threatening activities of terrorist groups that have long attempted to disrupt the sanctity of these establishments. In line with this, he assured that the federal government is firmly determined to ensure that these institutions are totally free from the menacing acts of terrorists, solidifying education as a right that must and will be protected at all costs.
