Following the brutal assault, Rishabh, along with his accomplices identified as Manoj and Amit, endeavored to cover their tracks. In a horrific attempt to evade detection, they concealed Pankaj's body in a nearby forest. However, their gruesome cover-up was short-lived. The police discovered the body on November 18, a day after the incident.
