The 57th edition of the Festival de La Leyenda Vallenata, a significant event in the vallenato genre, is scheduled to take place from April 30 to May 4, 2024. The festival, which will be held at the Parque de la Leyenda Vallenata 'Consuelo Araujo Noguera' in Valledupar, will feature contests and prominent musical shows on May 2, 3, and 4. Preserving the Traditional Vallenato Rhythms

The festival aims to preserve and promote the four traditional vallenato rhythms: paseo, merengue, son, and puya. A notable lineup of artists, including Carín León, Mora, Grupo Frontera, Grupo Niche, Iván Villazón, Elder Dayán, Ana del Castillo, Poncho Zuleta, Alex Manga, Diego Daza, Pipe Bueno, and Peter Manjarrés, has been announced, with the promise of more surprises and international artists to be revealed soon.
