Beyond the stage, the Primavera Sound festival was praised for its organization. Despite the shift from the Distrito Anhembi to the Autódromo de Interlagos, the festival comfortably accommodated 50,000 attendees on the first day without any recorded tumults. The robust structure for exiting the event and access to the train was also applauded. However, the intense heat in São Paulo, reaching 31.5o C, was a downside, affecting performances like that of the band Metric due to lack of shade.

Looking Forward

The 2023 edition of the Primavera Sound festival concluded its final day with a nostalgic lineup from the 1980s and 90s. The main show of the night was The Cure, a band symbol of the post-punk movement. The audience also reminisced the rock of yesteryears with shows from Bad Religion, one of the most influential punk rock bands of the 90s, and other names like Soccer Mommy and El Mató A Un Policía Motorizado. The live transmission of the main shows was available on G1, Multishow, and Globoplay.
