The 20-episode drama "We Became Two" was set to air in the near future. With a noted cast and production by Karim Abu Zekry, the series was backed by the United Media Services. Abdel Aziz's death was confirmed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the head of the Actors Syndicate, who lauded Abdel Aziz as a virtuous artist and a respected figure who never upset anyone.

Health Concerns and the Aftermath

Dr. Zaki disclosed that Abdel Aziz had recently recovered from a minor health issue and had undergone the placement of stents. The late actor was relishing the series' location post-recovery. However, Zaki noted that after actor Khaled Saleh, one of Abdel Aziz's closest friends, passed away, concerns for Abdel Aziz's well-being had been lingering, as they were inseparable companions. Abdel Aziz's sudden passing has left a void in the Egyptian acting community, which will be hard to fill.
